Jay-Z will perform the halftime show for Super Bowl LXI.
The NFL, Apple Music, and the artist confirmed the booking on Monday. The game is scheduled for February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
Roc Nation has produced the halftime production since 2019. The company recently signed a five-year extension that keeps it in the role through 2029. Since taking over, the shows have featured more hip-hop acts. Last year’s event at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara featured Bad Bunny with Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin.
Los Angeles hosted the 2022 halftime show, which included Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar. Other recent performers include Kendrick Lamar and SZA in 2025, Usher in 2024, and Rihanna in 2023. Jay-Z has never performed at the Super Bowl prior to this announcement.
The 25-time Grammy winner spent 2026 touring to mark the 30th anniversary of Reasonable Doubt and the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint. The Jay-Z 30 Tour began in July with three nights at Yankee Stadium. He then played two shows in London and one in Paris in September.
His final tour dates were October 23 and 24 at SoFi Stadium. These recent concerts will serve as a direct preparation for his upcoming Super Bowl appearance at the same venue.
