Jaguars Extend Dominance Over Ravens
Jacksonville's fourth blowout victory this season puts its point differential more than double that of the second best team in the league.

The NFL has seen dominant teams before, but the Jacksonville Jaguars are setting a distinct pace in 2026. Their 33-10 victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night at M&T Bank Stadium marked the fourth time this season they have won by a margin of 23 or more points. No other team in the league has matched that level of scoring dominance.
ESPN Research indicates that only four teams since 1999 have recorded four such large victories within their first eight games. Three of those previous squads advanced to the Super Bowl. The Jaguars now sit with a 6-2 record through nine weeks, leading the league in point differential at plus 131. The next closest team, San Francisco, stands at plus 58.
Offensive production has been a primary driver for the franchise. Jacksonville has scored at least 30 points in five games, a first in its history for that many points across the first eight weeks. The team also holds a streak of three consecutive 30-point games, a mark tied for the second longest in franchise history. Only a four-game run in 2017 surpasses that sequence.
Running back Chris Rodriguez believes the current results do not reflect the team's full capability. “I think we're way better than what we've put out there,” Rodriguez said. He noted that the group has work to clean up but emphasized that the team is very good.
The schedule has presented unique logistical hurdles. The Jaguars have played only three games at their home stadium in Jacksonville. Two home contests were staged in London, creating a 34-day gap between appearances at EverBank Stadium. Additionally, three of their recent high-scoring games were played in the rain, including a match at Wembley Stadium.
Injuries have forced the coaching staff to adapt. Left tackle Anton Harrison, nose tackle DaVon Hamilton, and safety Eric Murray all suffered season-ending injuries between Weeks 5 and 8. Despite these losses, the offense performed well against Baltimore, even while rushing for a season-low 77 yards. The defense also secured a narrow 19-17 win over Philadelphia earlier in the season when a 53-yard kickoff return set up a game-winning field goal with one second remaining.
Linebacker Foye Oluokun stressed the importance of maintaining discipline during the winning stretch. “We can't let wins mask stuff,” Oluokun said. He warned against letting standards slip, noting that success in the regular season is less important than performance during the playoffs in January and February.
