Jennifer Lawrence released her hair care brand Mes° this week, offering consumers a lower-cost entry point into celebrity beauty products. The line debuts with a three-item bundle that saves buyers $10 compared to purchasing the items individually. This pricing structure allows customers to trial the full range of the brand’s initial offerings without a large upfront financial commitment.
The core concept of Mes° is to reduce the daily effort required for hair maintenance. The company states that its products are engineered to help day-four hair look similar to day-one hair. This approach targets consumers who find multi-step beauty routines burdensome and prefer fewer, more efficient steps.
The debut collection consists of three specific items: the Multitask Repair Mask, the Off-Duty Restyling Serum, and the Good Roots Volume Mist. Each product addresses a different aspect of hair health and styling. The brand claims these formulations work on all hair types, aiming to repair damage, add volume, and extend the life of a hairstyle.
Lawrence collaborated with Jasmina Aganovic on the development of these formulas. Aganovic is an MIT-trained chemical and biological engineer and the founder of the biotech beauty company Arcaea. She also founded Future Society, a fragrance brand. This partnership combines Lawrence’s public profile with a technical, science-driven approach to product creation.
The Multitask Repair Mask is designed for application on dry hair. Users do not need to wait for a wash day to use it. The product has a gel texture that functions as both a treatment and a styling aid. According to the brand, leaving it on for five minutes is sufficient to provide moisture and shine. It contains squalane and coconut oil to strengthen hair and repair damage.
The Off-Duty Restyling Serum targets hair that has been styled days ago. It aims to reduce frizz and flyaways while protecting hair from heat up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. The brand describes the formula as lightweight, which is intended to prevent fine hair from feeling heavy. Users are advised to apply one to two drops to the midlengths of the hair.
The Good Roots Volume Mist addresses flat and oily hair. It is formulated to add volume and reduce excess oil on the scalp. The brand suggests this mist can serve as an alternative to dry shampoo. It is recommended for use before blow-drying or while hair air-dries to balance oil levels without drying out the scalp.
The Low Maintenance° Edit bundle includes all three of these products. It is currently available at a $10 discount. This offer is part of the brand’s launch strategy to encourage trial. The bundle presents the entire debut line as a simple three-step process for the consumer.
The launch marks another entry for Lawrence in the competitive beauty market. By focusing on a limited number of products and a clear value proposition, the brand positions itself against larger, more complex lines. The inclusion of a scientific partner in the development process distinguishes Mes° from other celebrity-backed lines that may rely less on specialized engineering.
Consumers can purchase the individual items or the discounted bundle now. The products are available through the brand’s official channels. The limited-time nature of the $10 discount is designed to incentivize early adoption of the new line before the promotional period ends.
