Dylan Raiola threw for 336 yards and three touchdowns on Sunday to lead Oregon to a victory over No. 20 Northwestern. The quarterback completed 22 of 31 passes in the win. The Ducks trailed by 10 points at the start of the game. They came back to secure the win in a contest that defined a rocky season for the program.
The result came after a difficult stretch for Raiola. He replaced Dante Moore as the starter earlier in the season. Oregon's offense struggled under his initial leadership. New offensive coordinator Jay Johnson adjusted the game plan to let the receivers operate in space. The change produced one of the best statistical games of Raiola's career.
Wisconsin’s season ended in Madison on Sunday. The Badgers fell 30-0 to Iowa. The team had been ranked No. 25 in the AP Top 25 heading into the game. Coach Luke Fickell’s squad was outclassed on both sides of the ball. Wisconsin managed only 52 rushing yards in the loss.
Iowa quarterback Hank Brown completed 20 of 24 passes. He gained 222 yards and threw two touchdowns. The performance marked one of the best outings for a Hawkeye signal caller in recent years. The loss erased the momentum Wisconsin built during a strong start to the 2026 season. The Badgers must now close out the year with four unranked opponents to reach nine wins.
Texas Tech avoided a collapse following a loss to Cincinnati. Coach Joey McGuire turned to backup quarterback Thomas Castellanos. The Red Raiders defeated No. 22 Houston and No. 22 Arizona in consecutive home games. Those wins placed the team in the Big 12 title conversation. They face road trips to No. 24 Oklahoma State and Baylor next.
Indiana survived a late scare to beat Minnesota 23-16. The No. 4 team allowed a 60-yard field goal in the final seconds of regulation. Indiana kicked a 60-yard field goal of their own to tie the game. They won the opener of overtime. The result extended a streak of resilience for coach Curt Cignetti despite a diminished roster.
Oklahoma dropped to 25-42 at home against South Carolina. The Sooners allowed 28 points in the first half. Defensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle likely faces the end of his tenure. The loss marked Brent Venables’ third losing season in five years. The defense recorded multiple coverage busts, including an 84-yard touchdown run by LaNorris Sellers.
Sacramento State recorded its first FBS victory in program history. The Hornets beat Kent State 31-10. Running back Isaiah Ene rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns. The win ended a seven-game losing streak where the team lost by an average of 27.5 points per game.
